  • Why not MTV and the Cartoon Network? Not opposed, so long as it contributes to creating an informed voting populace. Cartoon Network, however, should outright parody the entire thing by fashioning its own canned "debate" out of out-of-context sound clips... I smell idea!

  • That's a cop-out. Traditionally, debates are carried live; spin isn't a factor more or less. Perhaps the questions are, but a true leader would be willing to take on whatever was necessary to prove his or her mettle against both soft and hard adversaries.

  • Any candidate worth his or her mettle would be able to succeed or at the very least stand firm in a debate on any network, not just those with ideologies similar to their own. Hence, Obama's showing here is absolutely weak. Where the hell is the leadership in that?
